Cinderella Oxendine, 70, of 570 Lewis McNeill Rd entered this life on December 31, 1939 and departed this life on January 17, 2010. 

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2010 at 2:00 PM in boles funeral home Chapel, Red Springs, NC.  Rev’s Tony Miller and Gary Locklear, officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lowery Family Cemetery, Red Springs, NC.

“Cindy” was preceded in death by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Zion and Delphia Lowery.  Three brothers Archie, Leonard and Cecil Lowery.  One sister, Mottie Lowery.
Cindy worked in retail and textile through the years and was dedicated to her family and friends.  After her years of employment she was a creative and independent homemaker.  She was a lady that you never heard complain, she never met a stranger and you were always welcomed in her home and most of all you were always welcome to put your feet under her table.  She will be missed not only by her family, but her nieces and nephews will miss her answering the phone and taking her messages as only she could do.  Her famous words were “Ok then and bye”.

She is survived by her precious and loving husband of 50 years Ronald (Hun, as she affectionately called him).  Her devoted children;  Dale Lowery of Red Springs, Timmy Ray (Bloss) Oxendine of the home, Susan Oxendine and (husband) Rodney Bullard of Red Springs and Gail Oxendine of the home.  Robin “Liz” and (husband) Dean Register of Rowland.  An adopted daughter Andrea Carol Oxendine of Red Springs.  One sister Ms. Nancy Lowery of Red Springs.  Five grandchildren; Tonya and Rachel Oxendine of Maxton, Josh, Mark and Luke Oxendine of Red Springs.  One special grandson Cory Oxendine of Red Springs.  Eight great-grandchildren Cierra Edwards, Courtney and Anna Register of Rowland, Darrion Oxendine and Destiny McLaughlin of Maxton, Payton Oxendine of Red Springs, Kenny Jacobs of Lumberton and Mariah Locklear of Pembroke.  Her special baby, Kela (dog) and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at Boles Funeral Home Red Springs, NC from 7-9 PM.
