Claude “Skeeter” Bennett Jones
Mr. Claude Bennett Jones better known as “Skeeter” was born February 4, 1951 departed this world on January 21, 2012 at his home.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 26, 2012 at Mt. Elim Baptist Church in Red Springs, Revs Hedrick Jones, Ivory Henderson, and Chris Webb.
He was preceded in death by his mother Sadie Neal Holliday and an infant son William Brian Jones.
He has left to cherish his memory, five children: Claudette Jones of Raeford, NC, Annette Cummings (Kim) of Raeford, NC, Claude Bennette Locklear (Sharon) of Maxton, NC, Julie Brayboy (Charles) of Dillion, SC and Angela Branch (Buck) of Red Springs, NC. Sisters Joyce Blackburn and Mary Stuart both of Raeford, NC, Brothers Earlie Neal and Johnny Jones both of Raeford, NC and his heart felt sons Joshua Barton and Jasper Locklear. 15 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to cherish his memory.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 from 7-9PM at Boles Funeral Home Chapel, in Red Springs, NC.

I’ve known you a very long time Mr. Skeeter Jones you have been an outspoken man some one who was not afraid to tell it like it was hope your soul is at peace you will forver be remember in my heart and soul.
