Elsa J. Miller
Elsa J. Miller, 96, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Fox Hollow Assisted Living in Pinehurst.
A funeral mass will be held 10:00 am Friday, February 24, 2012 at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, Southern Pines.
She was born February 24, 1915 in Chicago, IL to the late Elsa Hoch and Richard Anton Junker. She was a long time resident of Lake Forest, IL. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Miller is survived by sons Donald J. Miller Jr. and wife Barbara of Pinehurst, NC and Thomas J. Miller of Laurinburg; daughters Gretchen M. Day and husband Paul of Naples, FL, Judy M. Skinner of Chicago, IL, and Susan Miller of Pinehurst, NC; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her parents, her husband of 55 years Donald J. Miller Sr., son Richard Miller and sister Josephine Kentnick.

I offer the sincere condolences of my family and I. I can only begin to imagine the pain and sorrow that the family is going through. The loss of a loved one is such a terrible thing to deal with. Please continue to look to the God of all comfort as he is described at 2 Corinthians 1:3,4. He can provide you the strength and support needed to deal with this most difficult time.

Dear Tom, Susan and Don:
You are in our thoughts and prayers. Your Mom lived a long live and most of those years were happy. I believe she is now in a better place. Our prays are with you and all of the family.
