Mr. Ervin Hammonds, age 80 of 1634 N. Howe St., formerly of Red Springs, NC died on Tuesday, January 24, 2012.

Burial will take place at a later date.

Mr. Hammonds is survived by two sons: Furman and Michael Hammonds; three daughters: Linda Turlington, Vicky Rogers, and Debbie Fair; one brother: Doc Hammonds; four sisters: Hazel Lowery, Geneva Oxendine, Annie Zell and Mabel Bryant.
