Very sad to hear that one of our oldest and dearest friends, had passed away.
Deeply regret also that I can not make it down from Canada to the funeral service.
Doug and Fran’s memory will live on in the Pinehurst area and I feel fortunate to have known them both

We were saddened to learn of Fran’s passing (from her) and our dear friends Bruce and Sandy Rognon. Fran was an unique lady of incredible strength with many wonderful attributes and it was always a great pleasure to be with her and Doug – a great double act. I first met them in 1970 when they looked after me in Hollywood Lakes and our friendship continued from the moment we met. Fran just loved people and was one of life’s gems – we should all model ourselves on her outlook on life.

I will truly miss my Aunt Franny and am very grateful for all the wonderful memories I have of her and Uncle Doug driving us around in their motor home. But I am most grateful that my four children were able to meet her before she passed away. She is once again with Uncle Doug and my brother Jamie C. Labbe and Jami Lynn Labbe as well as her parents.
We love you and will miss you very much.
