  1. Kind words from Caren (Gladle) Francis

I was so sad to learn of Gloria’s passing today. To me, Gloria was a perfect example of a classy, BEAUTIFUL, sweet woman and I will always remember her with the fondest of memories. (Even though she laughed at the story of Jim yanking my arm when I would misbehave!) My thoughts are with Jim, Jimmy and Michele, Mrs. Lemon and the rest of her family and friends. I am sure that your wealth of wonderful memories will help you through this difficult time. Treasure them! You all are in my prayers.

We were very saddened to hear of Gloria’s passing. We had the great fortune to meet her and Jim 36 years ago through the CNY Porsche club, and we had many enjoyable times together while they resided in NY.
She was a wonderful lady who always made us feel welcome in their beautiful Seven Lakes home and we will GREATLY miss seeing her every spring when we visit the Carolina’s. She was a wonderful cook, VERY talented artist, and she passed on her love of pottery to us. She always enjoyed taking us to Seagrove, which started a passion for that art-form that we have today.
We extend our deepest sympathies to Jim, Jim & Michelle and all the rest of her family and friends.

Jim, Jim and Michele, please know that Gloria always had a special place in my heart.

    A beautiful life
    that came to an end,
    she died as she lived,
    everyone’s friend.
In our hearts a memory will
    always be kept,
    of one we loved,
    and will never forget.

    Cherish all the wonderful memories.

There are a few extra special people that fate brings to us who make our lives better with their wit, wisdom and good-heartedness. Such a wonderful woman and such a loss for all of us.

  9. Kind words from Joyce and Chuck Gladle

Our most sincere condolences to Jim, Michele, Jim and Nancy on this terribly sad occasion.

Gloria was a wonderful lady and teacher-by-example who had a profound impact on our lives and those of our children as well. Fortunately for us, the wonderful memories created over some 48 years will keep Gloria close to our hearts forever.
