Herbert George Hardisty
Herbert George Hardisty, 92, died Tuesday (2-14-12) at Sanford Health and Rehab. Mr. Hardisty was born February 5, 1920.
A memorial service will be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday, February 26th 2012 at the First Presbyterian Church of Sanford on Hawkins Avenue with Wendell McGee CLP officiating.
Mr. Hardisty was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years in 2002 Helen (Reidel) Hardisty and two brothers.
Mr. Hardisty is survived by a daughter, Camille Davidson and husband Tad of Sanford, NC; a son, Robert Hardisty and wife Karen of Clifton Park, NY; a granddaughter, Jennifer Dacanay and a husband Ken of Philadelphia, PA.

My heart goes out to you in your time of loss. I met and worked with Herb at Wagner Insurance. I can still hear him fighting with his typewriter. Prayers to you and your family. Love Cheli

I am deeply sorry for your loss. Herb used to say that when he finally retired that all he wanted was a convertable car, a dalmation, and a metal detector to look for treasure on the beach. I am certain that he now has all that and more.
