James Stephen Sennett, 89, of Seven Lakes, NC passed away Saturday, February 4, 2012 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, February 22 at the Seven Lakes Chapel in the Pines, with the Reverend Don Welch officiating. 

Jim was born in St. Marys, PA, son of Clifford J. and Catherine F. Sennett. Following graduation from Penn State University, he was employed as Sales Manager for Stackpole Inc. He was an avid golfer, friend to all, a man of integrity and always a gentleman.  He was a devoted husband as well as a loving father.

During World War II he served in the Army Aircorp with the 319th Bombardier Squadron and was involved in combat duty in the Mediterranean Theatre.
 
He is survived by his wife Verna, daughter Kathleen, son John, 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by sisters Rita Sennett Ritter and Mary Catherine Sennett.
