Mr. Ronnie Locklear (Ronald), 53, of Red Springs, was born March 6, 1956 and departed this life to be in the hands of the Lord on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at his home.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 15, 2010 at 3:30PM in The Upper Room Holiness Church, Red Springs, NC. Rev. Annie Lewis and Rev.Hedrick Jones, officiating. Burial will follow in Oxendine Cemetery, Lumberton, NC.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Locklear, and three brothers; Marshall Locklear, Jimmy Locklear, Adam Locklear,; his maternal grandparents Henry and Molly Locklear and Jessie James and Gertrude Locklear.

Mr. Locklear is survived by his father, Johnny Locklear and Step-mother, Linda Clark and Step-father, Ernest Locklear; his long time friends, Gary Dickerson and Wade Lester, of the home; brothers Henry Locklear, Johnnie Locklear and wife Sarah Locklear, Donald Locklear “Donnie” of Red Springs, Nikoma Locklear “Papa” and Steve Locklear “Boss” of Maxton, James Alton Locklear of Pembroke and Clarence Clark “Bird” of Maxton; sisters Betty Locklear of Red Springs, Norma Locklear of St. Pauls, Colleen Jones of Hope Mills, Ernestine Locklear and husband John Locklear and Angela G. Locklear of Red Springs and Loretta Chavis of Raeford. He is also survived by 32 nieces and nephews, 14 great nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 14, 2010 at Boles Funeral Home Chapel, 102 S. Vance St., Red Springs, NC from 7-9PM.
