Mrs. Carmella Meyer Martin, age 85, died Thursday, January 21, at Pinehurst Health and Rehab in Pinehurst.

A Memorial Service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Boles Funeral Home Chapel in Southern Pines.

Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her husband Col. Ersel E. Martin and a brother, John H. Meyer.

She is survived by her son, Robert L. Martin an his wife Jo Anne of Norcross, GA., a brother Louis V. Hufft of River Ridge, LA, a sister Helen H. Hopson of Rison, AK, grandchildren, Rebecca Martin of Marietta, GA and Matthew Martin of Brooklyn, NY.
