Norman “Pap” “Buddy” Locklear,age 67, of 55 Walking Dr. Shannon, NC., entered into his eternity home January 31, 2010.

Funeral Service will be Thursday, February 4, 2010, 3:00PM at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Rennert. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Rev. Hedrick Jones, Jimmy Locklear and Lockie Carter, officiating.

He was preceeded in death by  his parents, Dock and Annie Locklear,  two brothers: James Locklear and William D. Locklear, and one sister: Lissie  Henderson.

Leaving behind to cherish his memory are five sons: Dallas and wife Shelia Locklear and Dock and Ann Locklear all of Sanford, NC, Paul and wife Christy Locklear Norman Dallas Locklear and Gregory H. Locklear of Madison, NC; three daughters: Wanda Locklear of  Raeford, NC, Doris and husband Don Henderson of Red Springs, NC, and Barbara Oxendine of Sanford, NC;  eight sisters: Cathlean Locklear of the home, Deliner Brewer and Sarah G. Barton both of Shannon, NC, Annie Lee Collins of Lumber Bridge, NC, Marsh      Bissette of Red Springs, NC, Margart Hammonds of Raeford, NC, Grace Hall of Jacksonville, NC, one brother J. D. Locklear of Hope Mills, NC, 16 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and a host of  others relative and friends.       
       
Visitation will be 7-9 Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at Boles Funeral Home in Red Springs.
