Although I did not know Richard, I would like to send my condolences to you. Comfort can come from knowing God sees the pain we feel. Psalms 56:8 says He collects all our tears and preserves them in his bottle and records everyone in his book. He promises to soon swallow up death forever and wipe away all the tears from our faces. (Isaiah 25:8) It is my wish you will find comfort and hope from these thoughts in the Bible.
