Many people knew Ron in so many different ways. But I am the one with so many fun memories of him while cutting that “oh-so-perfect” head of hair for 15 years – always with him singing all the words to the Motown songs playing on the stereo. I’ll certainly miss my friend. We love you Bear and are here for you!!!!!

To the family,
Thank you for being so kind and publishing this on facebook. It gives many an opportunity to express their sympathy and concern for your loss. As a young boy growing up just a few houses up from yours, I always looked up to Ronnie, who in many ways felt like a neighborhood brother to me. I recall the Saturday basketball games and how Ronnie towered over most everyone else. I especially remember a bicycle accident he had in front of my house one Saturday morning. I just happened to be shooting a few hoops in my driveway while Ronnie was riding his bike up and down the street. I looked up and saw him coming down the hill, and he was flying. Suddenly the front end went out from under him, and he flew over the handle bars and hit the pavement. I remember him just standing up, all bloody from head to toe. He just looked at his bike and began picking the gravel out of his arms and legs. He carried his bike home under his arm like nothing hurt at all.
We pray that Gods sustaining grace will uphold you during this time. Please know that God is no stranger to grief, and that He understands your loss. We pray God gives you His encouragement, His peace, and comfort in the days to come. You will find comfort in the Strength of God’s Faithful Presence. I Peter 5: 7 “Cast all your care upon Him, because He cares for you.”
God Bless You All
