Shirley Diane Gould
Shirley Diane Gould, age 80, died Saturday, January 9, 2010 at St. Joseph of the Pines.
A Memorial Service conducted by Dr. David Bowling will take place 11:00 AM Friday, January 15, 2010 at Community Congregational Church in Southern Pines. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the fellowship hall.
Mrs. Gould and her husband Robert were residents of Whispering Pines for 25 years. She was a past president and long time volunteer for Sandhills/Moore Coalition for Human Care, and was also an active member of the Community Congregational Church. Mrs. Gould was passionate bridge player and enjoyed gardening at their lake home.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Lynn Gould.
She is survived by her husband, Robert S. Gould, two daughters, Dana Mulder and her husband Bill of Northville, MI, and Diane Belleba and her husband Ed of Sammamish, WA, a brother David Harrell of Ann Arbor MI, a sister Alice Meyer of Mishawaka, IN, and 5 grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Sandhills/Moore Coalition for Human Care, 1500 W. Indiana Ave. Southern Pines, NC 28387.

Bear Bob, I am very sorry that a previous commitment prevents me from attending the memorial service for Shirley tomorrow.
