Shirley K. Wittig age 69, of Aberdeen, NC passed away at her home on Tuesday, March 2, 2010. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 11:00am at Sandhills Alliance Church. The family will receive friends Friday, March 5, 2010 from 6-8pm at Boles Funeral Home in Southern Pines.

Mrs. Wittig was born September 15, 1940 in Sampson County to the late John Henry and Clider Thompson McCullen. She worked as an inspector in the textile industry.

She is survived by three daughters; Sherry Kay Autry of Pinebluff, NC, Angela Denise Reiter and husband David of West End, NC, Helena Kay Gosline and husband Greg of West End, NC, one brother; Willard Shelton McCullen of Hosford, FL, four sisters; Elaine Allen of Virginia Beach, VA, Grace Weeks of Clinton, NC, Hazel Ray of Clayton, NC, Faye Day of Milton, FL and five grandchildren; Amanda Gosline, Nicholas Gosline, Samantha Gosline, Jonathan Gosline and Ashley Reiter.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association at 2711 Breezewood Avenue, Ste. A, Fayetteville, NC 28303 or the American Lung Association at PO Box 27985, Raleigh, NC 27611.
