Werner Klingener, age 83 of Pinehurst, passed away on January 25, 2012 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.

Born on February 5, 1928 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Karl and Katherine Klingener.  Mr. Klingener moved from Brooklyn, NY to Pinehurst over 22 years ago.  He proudly served his country in the US Army.

He is survived by his beloved wife Ellen Louise Klingener of Pinehurst. 

A memorial service will be held on Monday 11:00AM at Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Southern Pines.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Our Saviour Lutheran Church 1517 Luther Way Southern Pines, NC.
