Wiley Thomas
Wiley Thomas, age 74 of Sanford passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford.
Born on May 26, 1936 in Lee Co., NC to the late Herse Thomas and Katie Garner Thomas. He was a veteran of his country and served in the United States Army. He formerly attended NC State and Campbell University. He worked for the NC Department of Agriculture and was a retired farmer.
He is survived by his wife Jean Beal Thomas of Sanford; one daughter Mary Beth Jackson and husband Duane of Cameron, NC; and son, Mark Thomas and wife Sharon of Broadway; one sister, Ann Thomas Bailey of Raleigh, NC. Four grandchildren also survive him: Katelyn Thomas, Bayleigh Thomas, Anna Jackson, and Troy Jackson.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Miller-Boles Funeral Home Chapel in Sanford with Rev. Doug Houston officiating. Burial will follow at Buffalo Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Monday, July 26, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. at Miller-Boles Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Mt. Pisgah Presbyterian Church, 2128 McArthur Rd., Broadway, NC 27505 or to the charity of one’s choice.

I am so sorry to hear about Wiley. I so wish I was there to give you all a hug. I know what a difficult time this and please know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers. I know that there is nothing that anyone can say or do to make things eariser, but just embrace all your friends and family and you will make it through the sorrow. I love you all.
