Obituary for Pauline Rogers Stone

Pauline McCormick (Rogers) Stone, 75 of Sanford passed on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at Sanford Health Care and Rehab.

Mrs. Stone was born October 29, 1943 in Sanford to the late Alton Lee Rogers and Mackie (Collins) Rogers. She was a long time member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Sanford for over 30 years. She sung for many events at church and for several funerals over the years.

She is survived by her son, Jerry Lee Stone of Sanford; a daughter, Karen Lynn Stone Watts and husband Foster of Sanford; two sisters, Vernell Rogers and Lois Holder both of Sanford; a granddaughter, Harley Lynn Stone; and an adopted grandson, Drew Allen Brewer.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Buddy Hullon Rogers, Thomas Davis Rogers, and James Thurman Rogers; two sisters, Betty Speagle and Mary Margaret Rogers.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 from 11 to 1PM with a service at 1PM at the Miller Boles Funeral Home in Sanford. Burial will follow the service in Lee Memory Garden.
